BRADENTON, Fla. (Sept. 11, 2019) – Mister Sparky has purchased the former location of Manatee River Harley Davidson in Bradenton to serve as the corporate headquarters for its southwest Florida operation. The 18,881-square-foot property is located at 624 67th Street Circle E. It sold for $3 million.
Matt Kezar of Ian Black Real Estate represented Mister Sparky, a national electrician service. Joe Hembre of Hembre and Associates represented the seller, Manatee River Harley Davidson.
“Mister Sparky has experienced explosive growth over the last several years and was in need of a place to house their corporate offices and training facility,” said Kezar, broker associate at Ian Black Real Estate. “This space offers both functionality and visibility, which was high on their list of musthaves. It’s visible from I-75 and is the first thing you see when you come into Bradenton southbound on I-75.”
Manatee River Harley Davidson recently merged with Rossiter’s Harley-Davidson, consolidating both operations to the Cattlemen Road location in Sarasota.
Mister Sparky – “America’s On-Time Electrician” – is one of three home service franchises beneath the Clockwork Home Services umbrella. The southwest Florida operation, led by David Connelly, is one of the largest Mister Sparky franchise in North America, with locations in Tampa, Miami, Sarasota and Central Florida.
A 1.29-acre vacant lot next door was also included in the purchase. Mister Sparky has listed this property for sale, with Kezar, for $499,000.
“This is a prime opportunity for a local company to occupy the lot next to Mister Sparky and leverage the visibility of this property,” said Kezar. “The interstate visibility, paired with the high traffic in this plaza from Cracker Barrel, Sonny’s BBQ and the two hotels, create a massive influx of car and foot traffic that would certainly help a business thrive.”
